Veterinarian Killian Whittier is trained to deal with animal ills -- not cowboys' egos. Then, while investigating alleged animal cruelty on the set of a Western movie, Killian comes head-to-head with Gus Breedlove and his stubborn pride. He's the most difficult man she's ever had to deal with, and it turns out that his track record as a movie wrangler isn't exactly spotless.
But as it turns out, no man this side of Oklahoma had a softer touch when it came to handling stunt horses... or women, and his sexy, rugged cowboy looks have a devastating effect on Killian's objectivity. But Gus's guilt or innocence is only part of her problem. Cowboys aren't easy to love. Nor are they easy to tame.
